Raiders Hand Loss to South Puget Sound

The Pierce Raiders added another win to their season record on Saturday afternoon. The Raiders beat the South Puget Sound Clippers with a score of 86-68, moving their overall record to 11-10 and 3-3 in the West Region.

Tai White had a stellar night for the Raiders, scoring 23 points in the game. White added a total of three assists and one steal. White shot 66.7% from the field, going 8-12, and 62.5% from the the 3-point line, sinking five of eight attempts. Tai was 2-2 on free-throws, recording 100% for the sixth time this season.

Iv’rson Lavizzo was second on the team in points, adding 20 for the Raiders. Lavizzo had a busy game on offense and defense, adding five assists, two rebounds, and two steals. From the free-throw line he logged a 66.7%, going 2-3 and was 56.3% from the field-goal line.

Keelen Allen added 12 points for Pierce and recorded eight rebounds, one steal, and two blocks. Allen was 100% from the free-throw line, and 83.3% from the field, going 5-6.

Michael Steimle contributed 11 points for the Raiders, as well as three rebounds, and two assists. Steimle shot 50% from the three-point line, and went 5-7 from the field, going 5-7.

The Raiders head to Centralia on Wednesday, February 1st. Game time is set for 7:30pm.
