The Pierce Raiders put up a solid fight against the visiting Clark Penguins on Wednesday, but were unable to hold the Penguins off. The Raiders lost to Clark by a score of 2-1. Wednesday's loss drops the Raiders overall score to 1-17-0 and 0-14-0 in West Region standings.
Pierce broke the 0-0 score by a goal from sophomore Donovan Small (Manuel Lomeli) in the 39th minute of play. Donovan Small and Manuel Lomeli were the only two Raiders with a shot on goal, each delivering one. Gavin Forman led the goalkeepers in saves with 7.
The Raiders hit the road heading North to Everett on Saturday for their last match of the season. Kickoff is slated for 2:15pm.
