Olympic Earns Sweep with Walk Off Win

The Raiders traveled to Bremerton to take on the Olympic Rangers on Saturday, March 30th. The Rangers took game one by a score of 17-3 and game two by a score of 7-6.

In game one the Raiders scored early with two runs in the top of the first inning. Samantha Tungsvik hit a two-out triple to left field and scored on a single to the shortstop by Vivian Watts. Watts advanced to third on a double to right field from Jenna Bettge and then scored on a wild pitch for the second run of the inning. The Raiders added another run to the board in the top of the fourth inning off a solo home run from Abigail Lindenmuth.

The pitching duties were split between Samantha Tungsvik and Abigail Lindenmuth. Tungsvik started the game and went a total of three innings, striking out four. Lindenmuth finished the final inning for the Raiders, striking out one.

In game two the Raiders knocked around 10 hits in the game, putting up six runs on the board. Jenna Bettge led the Raiders on offense with three hits, including and RBI double. Elyssa Barnett and Vivian Watts each had two hits in the game, followed by Ava Lewis, Samantha Tungsvik, and Abigail Lindenmuth who each had one hit.

Vivian Watts pitched the complete game for the Raiders with four strikeouts.
