The Women’s basketball team showed no mercy against visiting team Grays Harbor on Wednesday night, as the Raiders defeated the Chokers by a score of 71-54. In conference play, the Raiders have outscored their opponents 177-134. The Raiders extended their win streak to three games, while also remaining undefeated in West Region play. The Raiders overall record moves to 6-12 and 3-0 in in the conference.
Tyra Brown had an all-star performance for the Raiders, leading the team in points with 15. Brown also had 13 rebounds in the game, marking her second double-double of the season. Brown added two assists and one block in the game. From the free-throw line, Brown sank five of six attempts.
Keshara Romain tallied her 11th double-double of the season, scoring 14 points and grabbing 16 rebounds. Romain added three blocks, two steals, and one assist, while also going 100% from the free-throw line.
