The Pierce Raiders hosted the Lower Columbia Red Devils on Wednesday in hopes of knocking off the top-ranked team, but a third quarter surge from the Red Devils delivered a loss for the Raiders. Lower Columbia took the win by a score of 92-61.
Tayah Parker led the Raiders on offense with 16 points from the bench. Jordyn Peterson and Keshara Romain each scored 13 points for the Raiders, and Leslie Luna added 12 points. Romain and Abuok Ageng grabbed 10 rebounds apiece, while Keshara also tallied six assists, two steals, and one block.
The Raiders are slated to take on Green River at home on Saturday at 5:30pm. In their last meeting, the Raider stunned the Gators with an upset win and a score of 57-51.
