The Pierce Raiders took the field against the Clark Penguins on Saturday at home in Puyallup. The Raiders held the Penguins scoreless through the entire first half, but a late goal in the second half secured the win for the Penguins. The Raiders lost with a score of 1-0. Saturday's loss drops the Raiders overall season record to 7-3-1 and 5-2-1 in West Region play.
Rylee Kline put on a stellar show guarding the net for the Raiders by recording 10 saves out of 11 shots-on-goal. Bella Atkinson was the only Raider to record a shot-on-goal with 1.
The Raiders next match is against Centralia on Wednesday in Puyallup. Game time is scheduled for 3:00pm.
