Raiders sweep West Region Players of the Week - Week 4

The Raiders swept the Week 4 NWAC West Region Volleyball Player of the Week Awards, as selected by the West coaches. AureanaBernales was named the Defensive Player of the Week, Kaya Anderson the Setter of the Week, and Moeshana Maiavawas tabbed as the Offensive Player of the Week. The trio helped lead the Raiders to a second place finish at last weekend's West Region Crossover Tournament, and a decisive 3-0 win over North Region powerhouse Bellevue, to close out preseason play.
Bernalesleads the NWAC in total digs on the season (251), and is fourth in digs/set (5.98). She averaged 24 digs per match in the final day of the Crossover, and collected 17 digs in the win against Bellevue. Anderson, who is eighth in the NWAC in total assists (266), averaged 33 assists per match in the final day of the Crossover, and dished out 40 assists against the Bulldogs. Maiava, who ranks second in the NWAC in kills/set (3.92), averaged 15 kills per match in the final day of the Crossover - earning All-Tournament honors - and had a season high 21 kills against Bellevue.
