Pierce battled through five intense matches to defeat home-team Tacoma (25-19, 18-25, 20-25, 25-22, 15-11) on Friday. The Pierce Raiders overall record changes to 10-10 on the season as they improve to 3-1 in West Region play.
Three Raiders sparked the offense by producing double-digit kills; Addie Downs lead the team with 15, while Sway Leia added 13, and Abby Draghici delivered 11. Raiders Setter, Raedyn Goudreau, added to the stat sheet by generating a team-leading 35 assists and received 14 digs. Other Raiders with double-digit digs include Abby Draghici (20), Sway Leia (16), and Illasia Bennett (11).
The Pierce Raiders are set to travel down I5 to take on the Centralia Trailblazers on Wednesday. First serve is set for 7:00pm.
