Pierce Takes Charge of Grays Harbor

The Men’s Basketball team make quick work of Grays Harbor, defeating the Chokers by a score of 88-57. The Raiders improve their overall record to 10-8, and 2-1 in the West Region conference.

Michael Ajayi tallied another double-double, scoring 28 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. Ajayi added five steals and three assists in the game, and sank nine free-throws on 15 attempts.

Tai White added 18 points for the Raiders, as well as six rebounds and three assists. White also had a team-leading, four steals against the Chokers. Tai went 7-12 from the field and 3-4 from the free-throw line.

Keelen Allen recorded his third double-double of the season, scoring 15 points and securing 10 rebounds for the Raiders. Allen had one assist and one steal in the game. From the field, Allen shot 77.8%, making seven shots on nine attempts.

Iv’rson Lavizzo helped the Raiders by providing 12 points, four assists, four rebounds, and one steal. Lavizzo shot 75% from the field, making six of eight attempts.

Will Green helped on both offense and defense, adding nine points, seven rebounds, three assists, and one steal. Percentage wise, Green shot 100% from the free-throw line and 66.7% for 3-pointers.

The Raiders are set to take on Lower Columbia at home on Saturday, Jan. 21^st at 8:00pm.
