The Pierce Raiders dropped a nail-biter in the Saturday evening contest against Tacoma CC. The Raiders lost to the Titans in overtime by a score of 84-82. Pierce’s overall record moves to 9-8, while sitting 1-1 in the West Region conference.
Michael Ajayi scored a team-leading 23 points and grabbed 16 rebounds for the Raiders. Ajayi added two assists, two steals, and two blocks in the game. Michael was 50% from the 3-point line, and 75% from the free-throw line, sinking 9 of 12.
Tai White provided 15 points for Pierce. White also added three rebounds, three assists, and two steals in the game.
Iv’rson Lavizzo scored 15 points for the Raiders while also securing two rebounds. Lavizzo provided three assists and one steal against Tacoma, while also shooting 100% from the free-throw line.
With only six minutes of playing time, Will Green scored an impressive 12 points and snagged three rebounds for the Raiders.
