The Women’s Basketball team fell to the South Puget Sound Clippers on Saturday afternoon in Lakewood. South Puget Sound beat the Raiders by a score of 75-47. Saturday’s loss drops the overall season record to 6-15 and 3-3 in West Region play.
Keshara Romain scored a season-high 22 points for the Raiders. From the field, Keshara went 10-18 averaging 55.6%. Romain also led the Raiders in rebounds with 9 and added one assist, two steals, and a block.
Leslie Luna contributed eight points for the Raiders, as well as six rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block in the game.
Kiki Brooks added seven points in the afternoon contest, as well as three rebounds, five assists, and one steal.
The Raiders play next on Wednesday, February 8th, against Highline College at the HEC. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30pm.
