The Pierce Women’s Basketball team defeated Tacoma CC on Saturday to improve their West Region record to 2-0. The Raiders currently sit in second place in the west, tying Lower Columbia College. The Raiders beat the Titans with a score of 51-43.
Keshara Romain led the Raiders in points with 17, and rebounds with 18, marking her tenth double-double this season. Romain added three assists, two steals, and a block in the game.
Leslie Luna delivered 15 points for the Raiders while also snagging five rebounds. She added one steal and one block in the game.
Kiki Brooks scored 13 points for the Raiders and grabbed six rebounds. She finished the game with two assists, three steals, and went 9-12 in free-throws, averaging 75%.
The Raiders are hoping to increase their West Region record to 3-0 as they host Grays Harbor on Wednesday, January 16th. Tipoff is set for 5:30pm.
