The Pierce women's soccer team walked away with their first West Region win on Saturday against Centralia with a score of 1-0. Saturday's win increases the Raiders overall record to 3-2-0 and 1-1-0 in West Region play.
Ashlyn Kennedy led the Raiders in shots-on-goal with 2, and scored the only goal for the Raiders in the first half at the 11 minute mark. Madison Ryneski was the only other Raider with a shot-on-goal with one. Rylee Kline had a quiet day guarding the net with three saves on three attempts.
The Raiders continue their season on the road on Wednesday as they head to Auburn to take on Green River. Game time is scheduled for 1:00pm.
