The Pierce Raiders fell to the Highline Thunderbirds on Wednesday evening despite solid efforts from both offense and defense. The Thunderbirds outscored the Raiders just barely by a score of 75-62. Pierce's overall record falls to 11-11 and 4-2 in the West Region.
Madisyn Buckner led the team in kill percentage at .400 and provided 2 service aces. Raedyn Goudreau stepped up with 3 kills, 22 assists, and 8 digs. Abby Draghici led the team in kills with 8, and Sway Leia delivered 8.
The Raiders are on the road again Friday evening as they head down to Longview to take on Lower Columbia at 6:00pm.
