Raiders sweep Gator invitational!

The Women's Cross Country team won their first team championship at this year's Gators Invitational meet, held on the campus of Green River College. The Raiders swept the top three spot, with all sixrunners finishing in the top 10. Jasmine Davis continued her outstanding Fall season, winning the individual title by running away from the rest of the field with a time of 20:31.3 over the 3 mile course. Sophia Randall (21:22.5) and Lauren Sautter (21:52.6) brought home the silver and bronze medals, finishing in second and third places respectively. Valery Saavedra-Luna(22:49.9) finished in 5th place, Elle Lovraktook 9th place (23:56.9), and Jillian Ruiz rounded out the Raiders' dominant performance in 10th place(24:18.6).

Pierce finished with an average time of 22:06.64, well ahead of Olympic College (23:31.8), and host Green River (28:01.86).

The Raiders have the next 3 weeks off, in preparation for the Northwest Regional meet, hosted by Olympic College, on October. This will be the final tune-up for the NWAC Championships on November 13, at Chambers Creek.
