Kadin Kingsbury earns his second consecutive selection for Athlete of the Week after another stellar performance over the weekend. Despite being swept by the Tritons over the weekend, Kingsbury continued to prove his power at the plate and on the field. The freshman outfielder posted a batting average of .417, going 5-for-12 over the three-game-series. In game three Kadin tallied four hits, including one triple and two doubles, while driving in two runs, and scoring once for the Raiders.
So far this season Kingsbury has made his way to the top of the stats sheets, ranking in the top 10 of multiple statistical categories overall in the NWAC. Kadin currently ranks 1st in the NWAC for doubles (9), extra base hits (10), and sacrifice flies (3). Additionally, Kingsbury ranks 2nd for total bases (26), hits (15), and is tied for 3rd in RBIs with 13. Kadin has a batting average of .405, placing him 8th overall, and a slugging percentage of .703, ranking 5th overall.
