The Men’s Basketball team started their West Region campaign off strong, with a win over the visiting Highline Thunderbirds by a score of 93-85. The win marks the Raiders seventh win of the season, while giving them a West Region record of 1-0.
Five different Raiders recorded double digit points in the game, including a season high for Cameron Williams with 21, who went 14-for-19 on offense and made a total of six 3-pointers, out of eight attempts. Darius Henderson and Keelen Allen each scored 16 points, followed by Christian Ballah with 15, and Donnelle Irvin dropped 14 points. The Raiders tallied a total of 46 rebounds in the game, with Allen grabbing 13, and Ballah securing 11.
The Raiders are set to take on the Tacoma Titans on Saturday at home at 3:00pm.
