Raiders Run Away with Win Over #6 Titans

The Pierce Raiders took full advantage of the visiting Tacoma Titans on Saturday, January 13th, as the Raiders held the Titans to a shooting percentage of 52.7% across all three shooting categories. The Raiders handed the Titans their fifth loss of the season, just days after Tacoma was ranked #6 in the NWAC Coaches Poll. Saturday’s win against the Titans brings the Raiders overall season record to 8-9 and 2-0 in West Region play.
Cameron Williams had another explosive game on offense, leading the Raiders, yet again, with 21 points. Keelen Allen and Darius Henderson each scored 16 points for the Raiders. Donnelle Irvin added 14 points, and Nate Hosannah provided another 13 points for the Raiders. Allen and Hosannah each grabbed 7 rebounds in the game, followed by Williams and Henderson who each tallied 5. For his efforts in the week, Cameron Williams was selected as the NWAC Athlete of the Week.
The Raiders are scheduled to take on Grays Harbor in Aberdeen on Wednesday, January 17th. Tipoff is slated for 6:00pm.
