Raiders Featured Athlete - Anastasiia Lemesh, Cross Country

Anastasiia Lemesh capped off the best individual performance by a Raider Cross Country runner, in the 4 year history of the program.  Ana ran away with a 4^th Place individual medal at the NWAC Championships, hosted by Pierce College at Chambers Creek Regional Park, with a time of 19:14, in the 5K meter race.  Her performance helped lead the Raiders to a 4^th Place team finish at the event.

Two weeks earlier, Ana took the top prize at the NWAC North Region Championships, with a stretch-run surge to defeat last year’s NWAC champion, Izabelle Anderson (Whatcom CC), by .6 seconds.
