Raiders Featured Athlete - Elena Castanon

WOMEN’S SOFTBALL- ELENA CASTANON

Elena Castanon had a phenomenal outing against Highline College last week. Castanon posted an impressive .800 batting average and an on base percentage of .714 against the Thunderbirds. In her seven plate appearances, the freshman tallied four hits, including one homerun and two doubles, one walk, as well as one sacrifice fly. Additionally, Castanon crossed home plate four times and drove in four runs. Elena posted a fielding percentage of 1.000 in the two games, with four put-outs on four attempts.
