Raiders Featured Athlete - Lauren Sautter, Women's Distance Track

WOMEN’S DISTANCE TRACK – LAUREN SAUTTER

Lauren Sautter competed at the Central Washington University - Open Invite in Ellensburg, WA on Saturday, April 22^nd. The sophomore runner competed in the 1500m and 3000m races against many Division I and II NCAA teams, including Seattle Pacific University, Western Washington University, Saint Martin’s University, Central Washington University, and Washington State University. Sautter placed 8^th in the 1500m race with a time of 5:36:47 and finished in 6^th place in the 3000m race with a time of 12:11:90. Additionally, on March 25^th Lauren ran in the Peyton/Shotwell UPS Invite in Tacoma, WA, where she placed 7^th in the 1500m run with a time of 5:42:95, earning Pierce two team points in the meet.
