Raiders Featured Athlete - Keshara Romain, Women’s Basketball

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL - KESHARA ROMAIN

It should come as no surprise that Keshara Romain is named the Raider Featured Athlete based on her impressive weekend at the NWAC Crossover at Olympic College. The sophomore guard scored a total of 50 points in the three-game-tournament and recorded a total of 59 rebounds. Romain posted a shooting percentage of 46.2% from the field, and 50% from the 3-point-line. In addition, Keshara recorded 11 assists, 5 steals, and 7 blocks. Keshara currently leads the NWAC in rebounds with a total of 142 and ranks second in rebounds per game with an average of 12.9. Additionally, Romain ranks 4th in the NWAC in points scored with 224 as well as 4th in points-per-game with an average of 20.4. In additional to her impressive weekend stats, Keshara also reached a career milestone of 500 career rebounds as a Raider, ending the weekend with a total of 521 rebounds.
