Tyson Cronin, Former Raider Baseball Player, Named NAIA 2nd Team All-American.

Kansas City, Mo. -

The NAIA has announced the 2018 Baseball All-America teams as selected by the NAIA-Baseball Coaches' Association All-America Committee. Kiki Menendez ofTexas Wesleyanand Jonathan Bermudez ofSoutheastern (Fla.)headline the honorees as the National Player of the Year and National Pitcher of the Year.

The first and second teams are also recognized as ABCA/Rawlings All-Americans by the American Baseball Coaches Association and Rawlings Sporting Goods. The ABCA began recognizing All-Americans in 1949 and named the first ABCA NAIA All-America team in 1969.

Tyson Cronin, was named as an NAIA 2nd team All-American for helping his team, Oklahoma Wesleyan go 53-8 this season. Cronin's team fell in the first round NAIA playoffs this spring. Oklahoma Wesleyan won the KCACBaseball Championship this spring. At one point in the season he had more wins than any other NAIA pitcher in the country.

Great job to Tyson after leaving Lakewood. Keep up the good work in your senior season.
