Raiders Win Big on Sophomore Night

The Pierce Raiders ended their season on a high note, putting up 92 points in their final game against Centralia. The Raiders held the Trailblazers to only 54 points in the game. Although the Raiders were unable to extend their season into the post-season playoffs, the Raiders finished with an overall record of 16-13 and 8-6 in the West Conference.

Michael Ajayi led all scorers on each team, with 38 points, a season high for Ajayi. Additionally, Ajayi grabbed 18 rebounds, had three assists, and three steals. Wednesday night’s game marked Ajayi’s 20th double-double this season. He ends his career at Pierce with a total of 1083 points and 605 rebounds.

Will Green added 14 points for the Raiders. Green went 5-for7 from the field, averaging 71.4% and was 3-for-4 from the 3-point line. Will added four rebounds, four assists, and two steals in the game.

Chancellor Hilliard scored eight points in the game and grabbed six rebounds. Hilliard added two assists and one steal.

Keelen Allen added eight points and one steal for the Raiders. Allen had a career high 16 rebounds in the game.
