Green River Takes Down Raiders

The Men’s Basketball team dropped the Wednesday night contest against Green River with a score of 70-59. Pierce fell behind in the first half with a score of 24-39, but quickly picked up pace and outscored the Gators in the second half by a score of 35-31. The loss moves the Raiders overall record to 10-10, and 2-3 in West Region play.
Will Green had a phenomenal game for the Raiders, leading the team in points with 15. Green added three rebounds and two steals in the game. He shot 40% from the 3-point line and 100% from the free-throw line.
Keelen Allen added 12 points and six rebounds for the Raiders. Allen also added one steal and one block, and shot 54.5% from the field.
Tai White chipped in with 11 points, two rebounds, four assists, and two steals for the Raiders.
Michael Ajayi led the team in rebounds with ten, and added eight points and two assists in the game. Ajayi shot 75% from the free-throw line.
The Raiders take on South Puget Sound at home on Saturday, January 28th at 3:00pm.
