The Pierce Raiders fell to Lower Columbia in the final seconds of Saturday night’s game by a score of 67-66. Pierce put up 32 points in the first half, only trailing Lower Columbia by four points. The Raiders and Red Devils battled back and forth twelve times for the lead, with the Red Devils taking the final lead with 11 seconds left.
Michael Ajayi led the Raiders in points (26), rebounds (10), steals (3), and blocks (3). Ajayi also added three assists, shot 52.6% from the field, and was 5-6 in free throws shooting 83.3%. Ajayi recorded his sixteenth double-double of the season against LCC.
Tai White tallied nine points and two rebounds in the game. White also added three assists and two steals, while shooting 100% from the free-throw line and was 1-3 in 3-pointers.
Iv’rson Lavizzo added 10 points for the Raiders, as well as five rebounds, and two steals.
