Clippers Stun Raiders

The Raiders fell to the Clippers on Saturday afternoon by a score of 68-63. South Puget Sound and Pierce played an incredibly even game, and left the court at half time with the game tied at 28. Saturday’s loss drops the Raiders overall record to 15-12 and 7-5 in the West Region.

Michael Ajayi led the Raiders yet again in points and rebounds. Ajayi scored 20 points in the game and grabbed 13 rebounds. Ajayi also had two steals and three blocks against the Clippers. Saturday’s game marked Ajayi’s 19th double-double this season.

Keelen Allen had a great game for Pierce. Allen scored 13 points and added 12 rebounds. Additionally, Allen added two assists and one steal. From the free throw line, Allen went 3-for-4 and was 5-9 from the field, averaging 55.6%

Will Green provided 12 points in the game and grabbed three rebounds. Green also had two assists and one steal for Pierce. 

The Raiders will take on Centralia at home on Wednesday, March 1st for the last league game this season. Game time is scheduled for 6:00pm.
