The Pierce Raiders hosted the Clark Penguins at their home field on Saturday, October 5th, falling to the Penguins with a final score of 10-0. The Raiders defense was able to keep the Penguins at bay for the first half of the match, going into halftime only allowing one goal. Saturday's loss moves the Raiders overall record to 2-8-1 and 2-6 in conference play.
Jovanny Bahena and Diego Barton were the only Raider to put the ball on frame with each taking a shot on goal in the first half. Christopher Baez started in the goal for the first quarter, recording five saves in his appearance before being replaced due to an injury. Ricky Ulloa tallied three saves in 11 attempts. Nathan Bidinger entered the game for the final 16 minutes of the game, recording one save in three attempts.
