Keshara Romain Named NWAC Player of the Week

Romain led the Raiders to a pair of West Region victories to start the conference season, defeating Highline 55-37 and Tacoma 51-43. Romain was dominant on both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor, averaging 18.5 points, 18.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.5 blocks per game. She shot 41.7 percent from the field in the two games and had 10 total offensive rebounds. She finished with a double-double in both wins for Pierce.
