The Raiders came out hot in their final home game of the season, scoring 13 points in the first quarter and held the West Region leaders to only nine points. Pierce continued to keep up with Green River, adding another 16 points by half time, leading the Gators with a score of 29-27. Pierce and Green River each scored nine points in the third quarter, but the Gators were able to rally in the fourth quarter, out-scoring the Raiders with a score of 22-6. The Raiders fell to the Gators by a score of 58-44, moving their overall season record to 8-18 and 5-6 in West Region play.
Keshara Romain led the Raiders in points with 12, and rebounds with 18, marking her 16th double-double of the season. Keshara added five assists and three blocks in the game.
Leslie Luna added 11 points and one steal for the Raiders. Leslie snagged nine rebounds, her highest number of rebounds this season. Luna was 2-for-4 from the free throw line.
Tyra Brown provided nine points for the Raiders and grabbed 13 rebounds in the game. Brown had one block and one assist for Pierce.
The Raiders take on South Puget Sound in Olympia on Saturday, February 25th. Game time is scheduled for 1:00pm.
