Raiders Unable to Rally Against Red Devils

The Pierce College Raiders took the court against the 2021-2022 NWAC Champions, Lower Columbia College, on Saturday. The Raiders fell to the Red Devils with a score of 64-33. Saturday's loss marks the Raiders first West Region loss, moving their record to 3-1 and 6-12 overall.
Keshara Romain came out with another powerful performance. Romain tallied her twelfth double-double of the season, scoring a team-leading 16 points and 15 rebounds. Keshara also added two blocks and one assist in the game.
Kiki Brooks contributed eight points, eight rebounds, and one steal for the Raiders. From the free-throw line Kiki shot an impressive 100%, going 8-8.
Leslie Luna added seven points and seven rebounds for Pierce, as well as two steal and one block.
The Raiders are scheduled to take on Green River in Auburn on Wednesday, January 25th at 5:30pm.
