Raiders Fall to Clippers Despite Rally

A 4th quarter rally from the Raiders cut a big lead against South Puget Sound, but did not give the Raiders the win. South Puget Sound led Pierce for the entire game, but the Raiders managed to outscore the Clippers in the 4th quarter with a score of 25-7. The Raiders lost to the Clippers by a score of 65-52, marking an overall record of 8-19 and 5-7 in league play. The Raiders are still currently in a position to make playoffs.

Keshara Romain led the Raiders for another game, tallying her 17th double-double this season. Romain scored a team-high 15 points and 11 rebounds. Romain also added two assists, four steals, and one block in the game.

Jordan Carter had 14 points and grabbed five rebounds in the game. Carter also had one assist and one steal for the Raiders. From the free-throw line, Carter was 6-for-9, averaging 66.7%.

Tyra Brown scored 10 points for the Raiders. Brown secured nine rebounds and had one assists. From the free throw line, Brown shot 100%, going 4-for-4, and shot 60% from the field, sinking 3 of 5 attempts.

The Raiders will head to Highline on Saturday, March 4th, game time is scheduled for 12:00pm. The winner of the game will earn a spot in the post-season playoffs. Pierce and Highline have each one a game in their two meeting this season.
