The Women’s Basketball team defeated the Tacoma Titans for the second time this season with a score of 59-51. The Raiders held Tacoma to 22 points at the half and continued the lead throughout the remainder of the game. Saturday afternoon’s win advances the Raiders overall record to 7-16 and 4-4 in West Region. Pierce currently sits in 4th place in the West Region
The Raiders offense was led by sophomore, Kiki Brooks with 18 points. Brooks grabbed six rebounds and added one assist and one block in the game.
Keshara Romain added 13 points for the Raiders and secured an impressive 17 rebounds. Romain added five assists, two steals, and four blocks against Tacoma.
Jordan Carter scored 10 points against Tacoma and added one assist and two rebounds for the Raiders.
The Raiders are scheduled to take on Grays Harbor in Aberdeen, WA on Wednesday, Feb. 15th at 6:00pm.
