Green River Pulls Away from Raiders

The visiting Green River Gators defeated the Pierce Raiders on Wednesday night by a score of 75-63. In their last meeting, the Raiders stunned the Gators with a go-ahead shot by Leslie Luna with 17 seconds left in the game. The Raiders are the only team to hand the Gators a loss in West Region play.

Abuok Ageng led the Raiders with 19 points, shooting 63.6% from the field and 71.4% from the free throw line. Ageng grabbed 10 rebounds in the game, tallying her fourth double-double this season. Additionally, Abuok had two assists, four steals, and three blocks. Leslie Luna added 18 points for the Raiders, followed by Keshara Romain who provided 13 points and 15 rebounds, as well as three assists, four steals, and one block.

Up next the Raiders will take on South Puget Sound at home on Saturday, February 24th. Game time is slated for 5:00pm
