The Raider Women's soccer team took the field at home against the Highline Thunderbirds on Saturday. The Raiders held the Thunderbirds scoreless in the second half, but a goal by Highline in the first half is all it took for Highline to walk away with a 1-0 win. The Raiders overall season record drops to 5-3-1 and 3-2-1 in West Region play.
Four Raiders, including Madison Ryneski, Regina Garay, Laila Peterson, and Bella Atkinson, each delivered one shot-on-goal. Rylee Kline guarded the goal for the Raiders and recorded four saves on the day.
The Raiders head to Lacey on Wednesday to take on South Puget Sound. Game time is scheduled for 4:00pm.
