The Pierce College Raiders women’s soccer team put up a strong fight against the Highline Thunderbirds but ultimately fell 2-1 in a closely contested match.
Grace Atkinson scored the lone goal for the Raiders in the 31st minute, assisted by Elena Iniguez. Atkinson led the attack with two shots on goal, while Jaelynn Fuentes, Kameryn Norton, and Lola Christensen each added one shot on frame.
Goalkeeper Rylee Kline recorded six saves in the match, keeping the Raiders competitive throughout the contest.
