Maiava named AVCA 1st Team All-American

Moeshana Maiavacapped an outstanding freshman season by being named a First Team All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. The freshman outside hitter from Washington High School (Tacoma, WA), helped lead the Raiders to a fourth straight West Region title, with an undefeated record of 12-0, and a 3rd Place finish at the NWAC Championships. Maiavaled the NWAC in kills, with 385, and was fourth in kills per set, with 3.93

Maiava became the third Raider in the past four years to earn First Team All-America honors, and only the fourth Raider ever recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association for All-America Recognition.
