Raiders Claim Thrilling Win Over Shoreline
Pierce College bounced back in their second match of the North Region Invite, defeating Shoreline 3–1 in a thrilling, hard-fought contest (22–25, 25–23, 25–23, 27–25).
Fiona Mallory led the Raiders with 11 kills, 3 service aces, and 11 digs. Jaelynn Gross turned in a standout performance with 16 kills, 13 digs, a solo block, and a block assist. Setter Rayley Peterson directed the offense with 30 assists while also recording 20 digs and a kill. Janaila Roeurth made her presence felt from the service line with 4 aces, 6 digs, a block assist, and a kill.
The victory marked an important early-season milestone for the Raiders as they closed out Day One of the tournament on a high note.
