Raiders Fall to Titans in Three Straight Sets
The Pierce College Raiders volleyball team faced a tough opponent on Friday night, falling 3-0 to the Tacoma Titans by scores of 25-13, 25-12, and 25-18.
Despite the loss, several Raiders turned in strong performances. Fiona Mallory led the way with 10 kills and 9 digs, while Janaila Roeurth added 5 kills and 8 digs. Taylor Kilen contributed 2 kills and 3 digs, and Audrey Fries chipped in with 2 kills, 1 assist, and 4 digs. At the net, Alyse Coleman tallied 1 kill, 1 dig, and 1 solo block. From the service line, Rayley Peterson sparked the Raiders with 3 aces to go along with 1 assist and 9 digs.
The Raiders will look to regroup as they return home for their next contest against Highline on Wednesday, September 24th, at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday's theme will be USA Night.
