Jasmine Davis places second at Puget Sound Invitational; Raiders finish third

In their first meet of the Fall 2021 season, the Raiders Women's Cross Country team took a huge leap forward, with a 3rd Place team finish at the Puget Sound Invitational. The Raiders were led by freshman standout, Jasmine Davis, in the 4,000 meter race that featured three 4-year universities and three NWACmember schools. Davis finished second overall (15:46.0), just 11 seconds behind Sara Sabra of St. Martin's University. Davis' impressive debut run was supported by teammatesSophia Randall who finished eighth overall (16:49.0), Lauren Sautter (16th - 17:432.0), Valery Saavedra-Luna (20th - 16:09.0), and Elle Lovrak (30th - 19:12.0).
The Raiders third place team finish was the best in the program's brief 3-year history.

The Raiders next meet is this Friday (9/10), in the Ash Creek Invitational, hosted by Western Oregon University, in Monmouth, OR.
