Raiders capture 4th Place at NWAC Championships - Jasmine Davis places 4th

The Women's Cross Country capped their most successful in the program's brief 3 year history. The Raiders, who have been performing throughout the Fall, didn't disappoint on the biggest stage of the season, as they captured the 4th Place team award at the NWAC Championship meet, held at Chambers Creek Park. Pierce who co-hosted the event, along with the NWAC, were led once again by freshman Jasmine Davis. Davis finished the rain soaked 5K course in 19:15.0, just 3.2 seconds behind the 3rd place finisher from Whatcom, Alyce Harlan.

Sophia Randall was the second Raider across the finish line, placing 16th overall in a time of 20:53.1. Lauren Sautterfinished 25th (21:27.8), Valery Saavedra-Lunatook 40th (22:46.6), Elle Lovrakplaced 50th (23:48.6), and Jillian Ruiz wrapped the Raiders effort in 52nd place (24:11.3).

Lane ran away with the team title with 42 points, Spokane took 2nd Place (100 points), and Clark captured the 3rd Place trophy (110 points). Pierce finished just out of the trophy places with 124 points to earn their 4th Place finish.
